Three Stars: Chabot, Obasuyi, Isley earn honours
MacEwan Athletics
EDMONTON – Men's hockey student-athlete Kadyn Chabot is the MacEwan Athletics first star of the week after recording six points in a two-game weekend series sweep of the Trinity Western Spartans.
His efforts included tying the program record with a four-point night (one goal, three assists) in MacEwan's 6-5 overtime win last Friday.
Women's basketball guard Unity Obasuyi and women's hockey forward Allee Isley are the second and third stars of the week, respectively.
It's the fifth time this season that Chabot has been named to the Three Stars list, following first star honours Nov. 12 and Jan. 13, a second star Nov. 18 and a third star nod Jan. 27.
Obasuyi appears as second star for a second consecutive week and is making the Three Stars list for the fourth time, also having been named first star on Nov. 18 and third star on Nov. 4.
Isley is being honoured for the second time this season, having previously been named second star on Dec. 9.
