Three-time coach of year Swallow led Griffins swim teams to eight banners

Coaching MacEwan swimmers to eight team championships between 1997 to 2007, Linda Swallow (nee Marshall) was among the most successful tournament sport coaches in MacEwan history.
Only two other tournament sport coaching staffs won more banners in MacEwan's history.
Swallow was named ACAC swimming coach of the year in 2003-04, 2004-05 and 2006-07 and is one of five coaches in the history of MacEwan Athletics to win at least three.
ACAC discontinued swimming in 2007 but not before Griffins swimmers left their mark with multiple individual medals and team titles.
Swallow left her mark on the program, the institution and on dozens of student-athletes she had the privilege to coach.
